Hey, what’s up? Welcome to The City Smiles! My name is Sophie and I am a 20 year old college junior and communications/media studies major in New York City. I’m originally from Baltimore which is where I’ve been staying for the last couple of months since coronavirus hit the U.S. I started this blog partly out of quarantine boredom, partly out of my curiosity in media and online success, and partly because I love giving advice and feeling like I could be helping people in some way. I am an older sister, so you could say that giving my opinion even when it wasn’t asked for is a hobby of mine.
Here’s a little bit behind the name “The City Smiles” :
I am a firm believer in the power of energy and that whatever you put out into the world comes right back to you. I named this blog “The City Smiles” because I want to serve as a hub of fun and good vibes based around my life between two cities. I’ve also recently invested a lot of my time researching and writing about sustainable living and ways that I can make my world (and my city) and better place! My content mostly revolves around sustainability, but I also love producing college related blog posts.
